Data has become one of the main uses for a mobile phone; data includes music, games, videos and files. In this article we will show you how to download music and games to your new Nokia N96 handset.

Before we begin downloading data onto your mobile phone there are a few things you must know.

Downloads costs will vary depending on your plan and the size of the download.
Downloads may take time depending on the length of song or file size, so be patient.
You must set up the internet on your handset for you to be able to download data.

Setting up the internet on your handset is easy! Follow these 10 pain free steps:

Select the Support tab
Navigate to Phone Setup
Select the manufacture and model of your phone
Select Internet settings
Enter the on screen security pin and your mobile
You will now receive a SMS with the internet settings, type the on screen pin and click save.
From the main menu select Download
Select options and setting
Change the access point to always ask

FOR MUSIC

Finding the download manager
- Select menu> Download
- This will bring up a menu with choices to download many applications, and files such as music, videos and games.
- You may be asked which access point to use, select Crazy Internet.
To download music
- Select Music. This will bring up several names of music companies.
- Crazy John’s lets you download a huge variety of music from various music companies.
- Select a company, each company will have different types of music for sale.
Selecting and saving
- Select the song you would like and click buy. The purchase amount will appear on your next bill or count toward your prepaid credit. The file will now download to your phone. This may take some time, so please be patient.
- It will then ask you where you want to save the file. Select either memory card or phone memory.
Playing your newly downloaded song
- Once back at the main menu of your handset, select music then music player. This will bring up a list of ways to search for the song you want to listen to. Find the song through artist or song name search, and select it.
- You can either listen to your songs with the inbuilt loud speaker or though the headset that came in the box with your phone.

FOR GAMES

- Select Games. This will bring up several names of gaming companies.
Select and save
- Search through the different companies and find the game that you are after.
- Select download.
- You will now be asked to save the file. Select either phone memory or the memory card.
Playing your new game
- Once at the main menu of the handset, select menu.
- Navigate to applications and then select you game.
