How to Get Started

Activate

The easiest and quickest way to activate your SIM card is online, plus you will get $5 bonus credit*! Alternatively, call 13 22 99.

Insert SIM and Power On

Once you have activated your new sim card, insert it into your new BlackBerry® Curve™ and power it on by pressing the power key on the front of your phone. It may take a few minutes for your new BlackBerry® Curve™ to power up.

Setup Your BlackBerry

When you power on the phone for the first time a BlackBerry® Setup Wizard will appear.

If your setup wizard doesn't appear or you want to set it up later you can access it from Menu > Setup > Setup Wizard

Follow the prompts to setup your language, date/time, email, Bluetooth and Wifi. There is also a navigation and typing tutorial which gives a basic guide on how to use key functions on your new BlackBerry® Curve™. You can exit this wizard and come back to it at any time.

Recharge

Once you have setup your BlackBerry® Curve™, you may need to recharge for more credit. You can purchase credit online, from thousands of participating outlets, or by calling 13 22 99. To access your unlimited BlackBerry® browsing and email you need to recharge with a ‘Crazy Cap’ of $19 or more.
