IN MEMORY OF JOHN ILHAN
Crazy John’s has lost its founder. John Ilhan died suddenly on Tuesday 23 October during his morning walk leaving a huge gap in the lives of thousands of Australians.
John meant many things to different people. To customers he offered the promise of a better deal and the best customer service in the mobile phone industry. To those who received help from his many charitable efforts he was a generous benefactor. To the rest of the Australian public he was a loveable and inspirational person who showed that good guys do finish first.
John proved the old business adage that it is possible to grow a huge business from nothing if you have enough drive, dedication and of course smart ideas. John was a marketing machine. He introduced the first $1 phone, the first offer to bundle a phone with accessories and consistently over the years produced some of the most innovative advertising campaigns to be seen in Australia.
The team at Crazy John’s has been overwhelmed by the response to John’s death from customers, suppliers and business partners. To all the people who have contacted us we send on our sincere thanks. We will pass on your kind thoughts to John’s family.
John can never be replaced, but his legacy will live on. The team at Crazy John’s will carry on John’s vision. That’s the way he would want it.
Expect to see more of the innovation and great deals that have set Crazy John’s apart from the competition. The values of focusing on customer service are deeply embedded in Crazy John’s thanks to John.
Everyone at Crazy John’s sends on their deepest sympathies to John’s wife Patricia and his children Yasmin, Hannah, Jaida and Aydin.
